Phone dispatch for HVAC and plumbing shops · Chicagoland
Phones answered at 2 a.m. Jobs booked by morning.
Keel Dispatch is a done-for-you dispatcher we set up and tune for your shop. It answers around the clock, qualifies the caller, books into Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or Jobber, and texts the customer an ETA. English and Spanish. You do not touch a dashboard.
24/7 answering, after hours included · No new app for your team · Recording disclosure built in

What happens to the 9:40 p.m. call?
You are on a job, at dinner, or asleep. The phone rings out. The homeowner dials the next shop on the list, and that job books there instead. That is the whole problem. Keel exists so a ringing phone stops being a decision you have to make.
We set it up
Your services, service area, pricing rules, and booking system, configured by our team. Calls forward on no-answer, or we set up a dedicated line. No new app for you or your office.
We tune it for your shop
How you quote, what counts as an emergency, which suburbs you serve, how jobs land on the calendar. Tuning is an ongoing conversation, not a settings screen.
It answers, around the clock
Callers are greeted, qualified, and booked into Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or Jobber. Customers get ETA texts. Unpaid invoices get polite follow-up. In English or Spanish.
Run your own numbers
What is a missed call worth?
We will not quote you an industry average. The only numbers that matter are your shop's, so the calculator starts empty and stays out of the way until you fill it in.
Booked work those calls could have brought in
Enter your numbers
The math, in the open: missed calls per week × average job × the share that would have booked × 52 weeks.
That figure is the case for a dispatcher that never misses. The 15-minute call is where we check it against what your phones actually do.
Books into the systems you already run
Keel works inside your field service software, not beside it. Jobs, addresses, and time windows land where your office already looks.
Jobs booked straight onto your calendar with the caller's details and the agreed window.
Callers qualified before the job is created, so your techs arrive on booked work.
Bookings, ETA texts, and invoice follow-up handled in the same flow your team uses.
Running something else? Say so on the 15-minute call and we will tell you plainly whether it fits.
Pricing, stated plainly
One-time setup, one monthly number per location, and a pilot that is paid because we do the work either way.
$1,500
one-time setup
We configure Keel around your shop: services, service area, trade names, pricing rules, and your booking system.
from $500-750
per location, per month
Live answering around the clock, booking into your system, ETA texts, and unpaid-invoice follow-up. Where you land in the range depends on what your shop needs.
30-day pilot
paid
Full setup plus one month of live answering. After the pilot, the decision is based on what actually happened on your phones.
Two locations or a fleet on the way? The per-location monthly scales with what each location needs. Ask on the call.
Questions shop owners ask first
Do I need a new phone number or app?
No. Keel answers on forward-on-no-answer, or on a dedicated line if you prefer. You and your team keep the phones and tools you already use.
Which systems does Keel book into?
Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, and Jobber. If your system is not on the list, ask on the 15-minute call.
Does it answer in Spanish?
Yes. Callers can be answered in English or Spanish.
What does the 30-day pilot include?
The pilot is paid: full setup, tuning for your shop, and 30 days of live answering. The decision after the pilot is based on what actually happened on your phones.
Who is behind Keel Dispatch?
Keel Dispatch is a DBA of Kawthar Systems LLC, a Chicagoland studio for applied AI engineering. Your dispatcher is set up and tuned by people, and you talk to those people on the 15-minute call.
Is the call recorded, and do callers know?
Yes on both. Keel plays a recording disclosure at the start of calls and keeps a log. Illinois requires the consent of everyone on a call before it is recorded, so the announcement is built in. This is how the product works, not legal advice.
Book a 15-minute call
Fifteen minutes on the phone: your call volume, your service area, and whether a dispatcher that never misses pays for itself. No deck, no demo account to poke at.
